This jacket is designed to be worn in showmanship or as an all day jacket. Princess seamed, front zip jacket is body skimming and built with just enough ease to accommodate your showmanship presentation stance without restricting your movements.
Use the traditional square bottom or have a little fun with the shaped (slightly curved) hemline. Both jackets are built on the same base - just choose your hemline and length. We have chosen to use facings at our hems - eliminating the awkward and sometimes unflattering traditional rolled hems.
This pattern was developed for slightly stretchy but heavier fabrics such as stretch twill, stretch gabardine, bengaline, ottoman and pointe roma. Note that use of other fabrics may require underlining to support embellishments.
Each pattern is printed on heavy vellum paper but folded to standard
print size. Each size is printed in easy to follow colored lines,
making it easy to trace your desired size (or blend sizes).

SEWING TIP: Many people use products such as fusi-net to stabilize their fabrics. Affix the stabilizer before you cut your pattern piece to avoid shrinkage.
